Initial Consultation:
What to Expect During Your Initial Nutrition Consultation:
At Purposeful Eating RD, your initial consultation is all about getting to know you. We’ll start with a comprehensive nutrition assessment, including a review of your medical history and any recent blood test results. If needed, we’ll recommend specific blood tests to gain a clearer picture of your health. We’ll also take a detailed diet history to understand your current eating patterns. From there, we’ll work together to identify realistic, sustainable dietary changes tailored to your goals. You’ll leave the session with personalised dietary guidelines and practical nutrition recommendations to set you up for long-term success.
Duration: 60- 90 minutes

Personalised Meal Plan & Shopping List (Separate Service):
Our flexible meal plans are tailored to your unique dietary needs, preferences, and goals—taking into account your nutrition assessment from the initial consultation. Along with your meal plan, you’ll receive a detailed shopping list to help you confidently navigate the grocery store and easily find the foods recommended for you.
Please note: Meal plans are offered as a separate service and are not included in your consultation fee. We recommend booking a follow-up consultation two weeks after receiving your plan. This allows us to assess your progress, review your body composition, and make any necessary adjustments to better suit your lifestyle and preferences.
Meal plans can be requested without a consultation. An online nutrition assessment form will be sent to you in order for me to create an individualised meal plan that is specific to your dietary requirements, the meal plan will be sent to you within 3-5 working days once payment has been received.

If you’ve already completed an initial consultation, this session is designed to provide ongoing support, motivation, and accountability. We’ll work through any challenges or barriers you’ve encountered and adjust your plan as needed. During the consultation, we’ll reassess your body composition, review your recent diet history, and help you set new, achievable goals to keep you moving forward on your nutrition journey.
Duration: 30- 45 minutes
