HI ! TAMZIN SWART HERE
soon to be your favourite foodie and nutrition expert.
I’m a South African dietitian working online, helping women better understand their bodies and use nutrition to support their health, strength and body composition.
I qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Stellenbosch University in 2017 and spent 8 years working as a clinical dietitian at False Bay Hospital in Cape Town, where I gained extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of medical conditions through practical, evidence-based nutrition care.
REMEMBER THAT One small change each day, can lead to remarkable outcomes

But thyroid health became personal for me.
After being diagnosed with Graves’ disease in 2022, I suddenly found myself experiencing health from the other side.
I know what it feels like when your energy, weight, strength and confidence change, and when you’re left wondering what you should actually be doing to support your body.
That experience sparked my special interest in thyroid health and thyroid autoimmunity, particularly Graves’ disease and Hashimoto’s, and completely shaped the way I practise today.
Nutrition and lifestyle became an important part of my own recovery, but so did rebuilding my strength. Strength training became something I genuinely fell in love with after my Graves’ diagnosis and changed the way I viewed my body, focusing less on simply how it looked and more on what it was capable of.
Today, I primarily support women navigating thyroid conditions, insulin resistance, diabetes, PCOS, hormonal changes and body composition, helping them improve their nutrition without rigid rules, unnecessary restriction or feeling like they have to eat perfectly.
My philosophy is simple:
Health first. Strength always. Body composition can follow.
I believe nutrition should feel realistic, flexible and enjoyable. My goal is to help you understand what your body needs, use food strategically and build habits that fit into your actual life, so you can feel healthier, stronger and more confident in your body.
And when I’m not talking about nutrition…
You’ll usually find me strength training, cycling outside, going for a long walk or hunting down a new coffee or matcha spot to try.
Because I’m a big believer that taking care of your health should still leave plenty of room for the things that make life enjoyable.
YOU DON’T NEED MORE RULES. YOU NEED A PLAN THAT WORKS FOR YOU.
